Returning Fomera Hiker, Daniel and I set out for one of the most physically challenging days we've ever been put to. Cactus to Clouds in its fullest is everything you read about. It is fantastic, and you are in the best headspace until you aren't, and then from there it's the mental battle the rest of the way. We completed the hike in 13 hours; however, we waited in the tram line for what seemed like another one, and the fiasco of walking an additional mile to the car from the Uber is enough to make one not do one of these for a moment, and not return to California for a moment longer.
