Drove 16 hours to hike 16 miles in Capitol Reef National Park Utah. Probably the least popular park in Utah however the diversey of the whole hike was awesome, like Mars. Capitol Reef has got to be America’s most underrated national park, it is a geological footnote and yet it sees some of the least numbers of visitors a year. As with Utah’s other protected wilderness areas, Capitol Reef hosts an enviable collection of geological marvels such as arches, slot canyons, hoodoos, buttes, domes, and monoliths.
