Early October I set out for Ecuador. This was my first time in South America and the trip as a whole did not disappoint. The big objective was to summit Chimborazo, which while that did not end up happening, the views were still incredible, the learning was immense for my mountaineering, and Ecuador is such a beautiful country. All with the help of course with the famous Galapagos Islands. This place was magical, the vast amounts of different species was very impressive. I hope everyone who can appreciate what Ecuador has to offer has the chance to visit and get the entire experience.
